Yemeni American Nasser Kaid joins the Wayne County team

Yemeni American Nasser Kaid joined Wayne County as a project coordinator last October. “We are very excited to have Nasser join the team,” said Assistant Wayne County Executive Khalil Rahal. “He comes from one of our largest municipalities, the city of Dearborn, and brings critical business development and project management experience. He will be working with businesses and municipalities via the Wayne County Business Resource Network to ensure small businesses throughout the county can access the resources they need to thrive.”

 

Mr. Kaid tells the Yemeni American News that he’s excited to be in a position where he gets the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people with a strong work ethic, and a strong leadership that are passionate about their work and employees.

 

“This position gives me the opportunity to utilize my project management skills, communication skills, and apply building strong partnerships to achieve common objectives and serve my community. I am hoping this opportunity will open doors for others to pursue careers in the government sector and to utilize the growth potential in Wayne County.”

 

Mr. Kaid holds a bachelor’s degree in in Management from Davenport University and has over 20 years of experience in the IT and business sectors with a focus on management, delivery, and business development. He spent his last 10 years in leadership/delivery roles in the automotive industry.
