Boris Johnson, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has been relocated to an intensive care unit in a London Hospital. International Newspapers are reporting that his condition is worsening after developing symptoms for COVID-19 around a week ago.

Ford Motor Company has produced their one millionth face shield after beginning the process just two weeks ago. The effort has been headed by Marcy Fisher, Director of Global Body Exterior and Interior Engineering for Ford Motor Company.

After sharing a viral video, Hamtramck School Board Member and night-shift nurse Sal Hadwan dominated the Detroit-area news cycle. According to the video, night-shift nurses staged a sit-in over the lack of workers during the nighttime and personal protective equipment issues. Many Detroit-area hospitals have been under criticism for their lack of transparency in reporting COVID-19 information.

600 Henry Ford Health workers have tested positive for Coronavirus. The 31,600-Staff Healthcare system has instructed the workers to undergo isolation. Henry Ford Health System also reports 752 out of 1,618 patients having recovered from the COVID-19 illness. 896 patients are still undergoing treatment.

Michigan has reported a total of 17,221 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 727 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 804 new cases of COVID-19 with 329 deaths. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 8,299.
