Gov. Whitmer has begun relaxing restrictions from the initial stay-home order. Next on the list of reopened industries are residential and commercial construction. The governor has said that as the hospitalization rate continues to go down, she will continue to reopen low-risk businesses.

It’s reported that more than a dozen deaths of healthcare workers have been due to coronavirus. This figure shows an exceptional vulnerability that healthcare workers have to the spread of the illness because of the likelier contact through their work.

Coronavirus cases worldwide have surpassed 3 million. The highest rate of confirmed cases are in the United States, Spain and Italy.

Michigan has reported a total of 38,210 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 3,407 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 128 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 15,891.
