Come by Hamtramck’s Public Library this Tuesday (today)at 5:00 p.m.  to share your input about a new play space being built in Veteran’s park.

This play space will be built for children in the community.

To help design a new play space for community children at Veteran Park, Hamtramck residents are invited to take part in a design meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23. The Hamtramck Parks Conservancy, in collaboration with the City of Hamtramck, General Motors, KABOOM! and community members, are spearheading this project and hope the space reflects the unique spirit and aspirations of Hamtramck children. This meeting will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the project, share their valuable input, and get actively involved.

 

WHAT: Hamtramck Public Schools students and families help design new place space for Veterans Park by taking part in a community meeting.
