Detroit benefit concert this Saturday 7/18 supports “Prosthetics for Palestine”


Watani77: Prosthetics for Palestine Benefit Concert brings together Detroit artists alongside Bay Area headliners Tarik “Excentrik” Kazaleh & The Shadow Band for an outdoor evening of live music, cultural vendors, food, and community.

The goal is to raise $10,000 for Prosthetics for Palestine, a program of Physicians for Palestine (501(c)(3)), supporting prosthetic care, rehabilitation, and long-term medical infrastructure for Palestinians living with limb loss.

The lineup spans hip-hop, jazz, R&B, Arab melodies, and improvisational music, and includes local Detroit artists: Valid, Le’Jend, ChromaSynthesis, Layan Srour, and Zekkereya Al-Magharbel. The evening will also feature a special live performance of selections from Watani77, Kazaleh’s recently released instrumental album commemorating the 77th year since the Nakba, with 100% of streaming and vinyl proceeds supporting Prosthetics for Palestine.
