Dearborn, Mich. – At 12pm today, Aug. 13, ACCESS will be distributing back-to-school supplies from their Dearborn location at 6450 Maple St.

The Dearborn-based community organization will distribute free backpacks, with school supplies and vouchers for health services like back-to-school and sports physicals. All supplies will be given on a first-come first-serve basis. Along with the supplies, “COVID-19 vaccinations will also be available onsite for anyone 12 years of age or older,” reads a press release.

Supplies will be given to every child or teenager present. Each child or teenager must be present to receive their back-to-school supplies.

ACCESS says that this is a drive-thru only event, so no walk-ups will be accepted. Since supplies are limited, ACCESS encourages those interested to arrive in time to be able to receive their supplies.

ACCESS is the largest Arab American community nonprofit in the United States. Their stated goal is to empower communities in Southeast Michigan to improve their economic, social and cultural well-being.
