According to data released through michigan.gov, a total of 22,686 people have been reported to be recovered from the COVID-19 illness. The report is based on the number of people who received their initial diagnosis 30 days before Mar. 8, 2020. Michigan’s website will be updating the numbers every Saturday.

In a call with a group of former Obama administration workers, former President of the United States Barack Obama called the Trump Administration’s response to the Coronavirus Pandemic a “chaotic disaster.” As of now, the United States has seen 70,000 deaths related to COVID-19, according to John’s Hopkins University. The next hardest-hit country is the United Kingdom, with 31,000 deaths related to COVID-19.

Michigan has reported a total of 46,756 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 4,526 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 150 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 18,098.
