My Name is Faize M. El-Khali and I am running for Dearborn School Board 2016 – 2 year Term.
I have a Bachelors of Business Ad…ministration, a Masters of Science in Finance, and an MBA. I have held many high-ranking positions in non-for-profit organizations such as vice president of the Financial Management Association, president of the AAYSP, and many more. Also, I have over 15 years of accounting and finance experience; corporate shared services, plant cost allocation, st…rategic planning and pricing, and currently account manager responsible for over $50 million in annual revenues.
However, no matter what positions we hold, or what we own, our most admirable accolades are our children. That’s why I’m running for school board, as a graduate of The University of Michigan Dearborn College of Business, I know how much of an impact education can make on a person’s life. As a proud parent of two children currently enrolled in Dearborn Public Schools, I have a lot invested in the educational quality provided to Dearborn students. My short term goals will be to effectively manage the budget, work with Dearborn Public School teachers to create new and innovative education programs to provide Dearborn students with distinct advantages, and ensure that teachers and students have the resources that they need. I promise that I’ll be committed to these goals. Let’s work together, and this is why I am asking that you, vote Faize M. El-Khali for Dearborn School Board this November 8th.
