On Wednesday, May 1st, Hamtramck Public Schools’ Board of Education approved Jim Larson-Schidler to be the Interim Superintendent of the district.
Larson-Schidler also serves as the CFO for Hamtramck Public Schools.
We caught up with Mr. Larson-Schidler and asked him what are some of his goals for the district? His response was, “What we need to do as a district is create an environment where students can achieve and reach their goals. I like to see students get involved and reach their full potential. I want to create that K-12 environment where when our students leave, they say those were the best years of my life.”
