TCF Bank/Wayne County Offers COVID-19 Response Loans and Daily Case Number Reports.

 

TCF Bank and Wayne County have partnered to create low-interest loans for small businesses. The loans are targeted for businesses in low-income areas that are struggling as a result of Michigan’s COVID-19 Outbreak.

The loans will be for a term of 12 months, with interest rates between 0-2%. The available loans range from $5,000 – $50,000.

Businesses need to have fewer than 100 employees with an an annual revenue of $1million or less. Business owners must also prove that they’ve suffered a substantial hardship of at least a 25% loss of revenue because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

As of 4p.m. yesterday, 79 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus have been confirmed in Wayne County (excluding Detroit). The total adds to the existing 820 cases, making the county’s total to be 899.

New cases were confirmed in:

  • Dearborn (5 new cases).
  • Dearborn Heights (2 new cases).
  • Grosse Pointe Communities (3 new cases).
  • Hamtramck (4 new cases).
  • Highland Park (2 new cases).
  • Taylor (8 new cases).

Data isn’t easily available about the rise in case numbers in the City of Detroit.
