These secretaries of states\u00a0hope\u00a0to collect as much usage data as possible during the\u00a0pilot stage, which will be ending in July. They encourage\u00a0folks to utilize this service,\u00a0which will help them tremendously, especially when they make\u00a0the case for expansion to all branch offices.<\/p>\n<p>The following statement was released to The Yemeni American News:<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary of State\u2019s over-the-phone interpretation provides on-demand interpretation in over 200 languages for non-testing branch transactions, at no cost to customers!<\/p>\n<p>Residents who schedule an appointment or walk-in to one of our pilot Secretary of State branch offices may request an interpreter at the counter and will be prompted by branch staff to point at their preferred language using an\u00a0iSpeak\u00a0card provided at the branch office (I attached the card for reference). Branch staff will then call and connect with an interpreter within 1-minute.
