The student groups spent the next couple hours working together to develop the ideas, sketch out their concepts, and present them to advisors with the U.S. Patent Office.MGwendolyn Blackwell, the Office\u2019s Supervisory Patent Examiner, said she was very impressed with the students\u2019 ideas. At one point, Blackwell gave the students her business cards in order to contact her at the Federal Office.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed Hakim, Behavior Specialist at Hamtramck High School, said he was happy that the<\/p>\n<p>U.S Patent Office could see how well the students worked together. \u201cthey promised us that they will share what they witnessed with their superiors and continud this beautiful partnership with Hamtramck High School,\u201d Hakim said. \u201cthey will help us with [our] STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Program as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class='clear '><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A group of Hamtramck High School students were able to see what a career inengineering and business could look like last month.
