Gretchen Whitmer and State Attorney General Dana Nessel. The man, named Robert Sinclair Tesh, is said to have made \u201ccredible threats\u201d in his messaging.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosecuting Attorney\u2019s Association of Michigan, with represents prosecuting attorneys all over Michigan, has released a statement reminding people that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer\u2019s Executive Orders are still enforceable. The statement came as a legal battle continues in Michigan Courts over whether the Governor\u2019s orders infringe on Michigan residents\u2019 constitutional rights.<\/p>\n<p>In a story published by the Detroit News, food banks and other charitable food organizations in Metro Detroit are reportedly running low on supplies. The food shortage points to the overall need of the area in terms of food insecurity during the COVID-19 Pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The Food and Drug Administration has announced yesterday that they are investigating the efficacy of 15-minute \u201crapid tests\u201d for COVID-19. The investigation comes as claims that the rapid tests can miss COVID-19 cases have surfaced. Detroit\u2019s top Governmental Officials defended their use of the rapid tests in screening frontline and healthcare workers.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan has reported a total of 50,079 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 4,825 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 138 new cases of COVID-19.
