Yesterday, the United States reached more than 100,000 Coronavirus-related deaths. The first cases to be confirmed in the United States happened on Jan. 20, 2020. The states with the most Coronavirus-related deaths are New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

A barbershop owner in Owosso, Michigan has been ordered to close down after operating in defiance of Whitmer’s stay-at-home order. The owner, named Karl Manke has reached national fame over his refusal to close the barbershop. After a lengthy court battle, an appeals court has ruled that he must close down his shop.

Michigan has reported a total of 56,014 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 5,372 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports more than 56 new cases of COVID-19. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 20,190.
