At the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, scientists are beginning human trials for a vaccine developed for the Novel Coronavirus. The lab where the scientists work reported promising results in tests conducted with mice.

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is expected to announce a program that will move people to testing sites in a safe and reliable way.

Michigan has reported a total of 14,225 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 540 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 621 new cases of COVID-19 with 248 deaths. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 6,773.
