More than a dozen new COVID-19 testing sites have been added or expanded in the state of Michigan. Officials say that this will boost the state’s testing capacity by around 40%. In South Korea, the tactic the country took was testing high proportions of the population. South Korea’s response to the COVID-19 crisis has been praised by many people in the medical community.

The United States has passed Italy and Spain in the most deaths related to COVID-19 complications. The Death toll passed every other country earlier today.

Many US cities are reporting lower crime rates as the COVID-19 Crisis forces many people to stay inside and remain socially distant from other people. Chicago reports 42% decrease in crime.

CNBC Reports that many US States are stuck in a bidding war between other states and even the federal government for Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE. The report calls this bidding war a reason for a rapid growth in price for these necessities.

Michigan has reported a total of 23,993 cases of COVID-19. The state of Michigan also has seen 1,392 deaths related to COVID-19 complications. Wayne County reports 417 new cases of COVID-19 with 546 deaths. The total number of COVID-19 cases for Wayne County is 10,878.
